What is the best medication for severe headaches? - severe headaches

I had a stroke when I 27 years, 2 years. Since the race I had severe headaches. I tried Topamax, Percocet, Vicodin and Percocet. What is the best painkiller for headaces brain injury? My MD is so busy, I have encountered, and it is difficult to get into the room. Find the right information.

It is possible that your headaches are migraines, so I take Imitrex. It works well, especially a shot (injection burns like hell though). The problem is that if you are not insured, will cost a small fortune Imitrex (100 mg tabs around $ 25-30 per tablet in the pharmacy, you may be able to) provide on-line for less. Since it is not a narcotic, which is not a calming effect on percocet / vicodin fact, but you are only sleeping. Good luck!
