Amphetamine, Adderall and promote the fight or flight response in your body, so I think it would be easier to breathe or do anything. From my experience, the only negative side-effects related to breathing is that it can cause throat / dry mouth, which makes me choke sometimes.

Is your breathing capacity for change when he started taking Adderall? If so, perhaps you should discuss with the prescribing physician.

Asthma can be exacerbated by movement in some people, especially in cold air and sometimes by allergens such as pollen.
