The Oxford English Dictionary is published in a historical dictionary of volume 22. Includes etymology, speak the story, as in the first introduction to the language, their roots, all the significance it had and has some quotes from literary sources. Oh, and also includes the meaning of the word parts. It is very, very comprehensive.
