Need tips on drawing in Photoshop CS3 with a tablet? - photoshop drawing pad

I've recently bought a tablet Genius F610 and advice about the need to create in Photoshop CS3 with him. I'm good at drawing on paper with a pencil, but quite do not understand, and Photoshop layers, and so if you can help then that would be awesome. Just a video link that allows you to think or to do a number of things or to write something. Thank you!
